If City Planning matters, then why does the City not have the word "Planning" in any of its departments?
In "Planning Chicago", authors D.B. Hunt and J. DeVries contend that the height of 'city-led planning' was in 1966, and that Chicago is no longer defined by its storied past but by the nature of its emerging post-industrial future.
