Join your fellow CoreNet collegues at the annual Greater Chicago Food Depository Volunteer Repack Session to be held on Saturday May 19th from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

GCFD has a serious committment to volunteerism, and we are truly grateful for the work you do.  GCFD will do its best to ensure that volunteers have a positive experience. through careful planning, management and training.

Tasks include sorting and repacking bulk foods, assembling food boxes, checking expiration dates, and labelling products.  Voluteers are encouraged to bring a nonperishable food item to the event.  GCFD requires volunteers to wear long pants and closed-toe shoes.  Parking will be available in the GCFD lot.
