Mission
To create, organize and host social and networking opportunities for members of the Chicago Chapter of CoreNet Global.

Main Committee Activities
  • Organizers of the CoreNet Classic, Chicago chapter’s annual golf outing
  • Plan and execute annual Chapter Holiday party
  • Host summer outing
  • Plan and organize other social events as determined by the Board
  • Assist in organizing Board retreat
  • Assist other committees in their special event needs, i.e. Membership Appreciation Event
Need to Know
Depending on the events at hand, we meet either weekly or on a bi-monthly basis to further our event planning activities. Successful event planning requires a plan, assigned tasks and completion dates that are the responsibility of the entire team – the common denominator is teamwork.

The Special Events committee chairs the CoreNet Classic Golf Outing and is charged with creating and managing a Golf Committee that is made of up members above and beyond the SE committee who can commit to the planning and execution of the outing.

As the newest committee of CoreNet Global’s Chicago Chapter board, we have had tremendous success creating networking and social environments that have attracted over 150+ corporate real estate professionals (per event).

We are the social component within the Chapter – the planning of each of our events requires reaching out to the membership as a whole. If you enjoy planning & hosting events, meeting new chapter members and sourcing new Chicago venues, this is the committee for you.
